She had never been to a real british pub yet. She heard of them though. Her dad wouldn't stop telling her about those places. How he created memories and watched some really good sports games in those. He even told her, while his husband wasn't there, that he actually met his first boyfriend in one of those. The redhead was dying to go see what it was like. After all, there was nothing more british than a british pub.

When Violette entered in the Brasshouse, every lights disappeared. Everything was dark. Since it was a friday night, everyone was squizzed in that little place. She immediatly decided that she liked those places way more than clubs. She smiled at some people and sat at the bar. "A beer and, eum, this sandwich, please", pointing the apple and cheese meal. The place smelled like food and good beer. She loved beer.

The french took a big bite in her sandwich and smiled at the barman. "That is good!" He laughed and gave her her beer. The beverage was even better. So, she kept eating and drinking and staring at people, waiting for someting to happen.

I decided to go to town, visiting the streets and looking for my new repere. I mean, in Grmany, I'm used to having a favourite bar where my friends and I used to meet. I hoped to find a place like this in here, in order to spend good times and to have a place, out of the school, to talk and to have fun. In fact, I used to spend a lot of time in a bar of my city, when we were not at school. It was very rare taht I missed school but when I did, I was with some friends hanging out in this bar.

Then, I thought my school year in England could only begin well when I'd find some bar or pub which could accept me everyday at every hour. And I thought I'd found it : the brasshouse. In fact, I came in here aimlessly. It seemed nice from the outside and when I came in, I foound it welcoming. I'd always been fond of pubs, they had a special thing, a curious and pleasant atmosphere. So I went straight to the bar, sitting there and ordering a beer, a famous English beer. Germany was known for its own beers but I loved the English ones as well. I saw a redhead girl, sitting next to me. She was tasting some sandwich that she seemed to like. " Hi ! " I said to her with a smile. " Sounds like someone enjoying her meal. " I added, laughing.
